10x Genomics
The 10x Genomics single-cell capture platform is derived from Drop-Seq technology. It utilizes a "Double Cross" microfluidic system to generate oil-water emulsion droplets that contain cells and gel beads. The core of the system lies in the primer sequences on the gel beads, which consist of a Barcode, UMI, and Poly(dT). The Chromium™ system can analyze thousands to millions of single cells, effectively overcoming the throughput limitations of conventional scRNA-seq.
BD Rhapsody
BD Rhapsody's single-cell capture is based on the distinctive microwell array technology of CytoSeq. By leveraging an array of over 200,000 microwells (far exceeding the number of input cells), the platform guarantees high-efficiency single-cell isolation.
